Kneeling To Hand A Rose
~ From TJ to Jellie ~
I couldn't help but think about us when I saw this in the store. It reminds me so much of how I feel about you.
First of all, the little boy is kneeling. This is symbolic of me kneeling before you because of the tremendous amount of respect I have for you.
Next, you will notice that the two are very young. You have a way of keeping things exciting and constantly moving. We will both stay young if we follow your lead and keep going rather than sitting still.
Finally there is the single rose. A representation of love. The rose in this picture will never wilt or die. Neither will my love for you. It will remain alive, strong and will never falter or wilt.
Happy Valentine's Day Jellie!! I love you sooo much!!!
Love, by itself, does not endure. There are times when we must do a "state of the union", to check for signs of creeping separateness. A time to talk, to share and to make decisions... decisions made on the "Appeal to Love". The Appeal to Love simply asks one question, "What will be best for our love?" Should one of us change a pattern or behavior if it bothers the other, or should the other one learn to accept? Well, which would be better for our love? No argument can prevail against it. The Appeal to Love is like a trumpet call, causing us to lift our eyes from immediate desires to what is truly important.
